Building blocks for inclusive practice: training pharmacy students to be truly inclusive practitioners
Participants will gain an understanding of an inclusive pharmacy curriculum using the inclusive curriculum framework principles: representation, accessibility, developing skill sets to work in a global and diverse environment. Participants will engage in a range of activities extracted from the award-winning series of inclusivity workshops including discussions around inclusive language, managing religious considerations when prescribing medicines and reviewing case studies of inclusive consultations. Participants will leave the session with tips focusing on how to improve inclusive consultations thus reducing health inequalities.
