Developing clinical services in community pharmacy
The ‘Delivery Plan for Recovering Access to Primary Care’ is a national driver for community pharmacies to develop clinical services. The session will cover the GPhC regulatory requirements and standards for developing and maintaining clinical services in community pharmacy for services such as hypertension case finding, pharmacy first and point of care testing. The journey of developing innovative services will be showcased as an example for cardiovascular prevention, whilst ensuring equitable access, addressing unmet need and narrowing health inequalities.
