In this session, PDA Director of Pharmacy Jay Badenhorst will give an update on the PDA’s longstanding campaign to improve safety and care for patients and the working lives of pharmacists. As part of the campaign, it was recently announced that the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) has become the latest organisation to support the Safer Pharmacies Charter which defines basic standards to ensure safe practice wherever pharmacists work. Jay will also reveal exclusive findings from the PDA’s eighth annual Safer Pharmacies Survey.
