Sexual health in those with Autism and / or a Learning Disability
Clinicians from a variety of clinical backgrounds have stated that they often struggle to help those with autism and / or a learning disability make informed choices about their sexual health. As a result, I have interviewed a series of clinicians, patients, carers and academic researchers to co-produce two resources to help clinicians, help those with autism and / or learning disabilities make informed choices about their sexual health. These resources have been piloted with clinicians stating that they have led to higher quality, more informative and more enjoyable conversations about a subject they previously struggled with.
