Meet the Advisory Board: Part Two

The Pharmacy Show is proud to be supported by an expert advisory board who support the development of the programme and speaker faculty. We have invited some of the most senior and innovative leaders transforming the pharmacy to join this committee, ensuring we can deliver true value to all our attendees and partners.
Our advisory board is already helping us to refine the direction of the event and agenda, as well as sharing insights into how we can build out our community.
Last month we announced part one of our advisory board.
Aled Roberts, Associate Director Contractor Engagement, Community Pharmacy Wales
Aled is Associate Director for Contractor Engagement at Community Pharmacy Wales, providing contractual support for contractors across Wales and leading on collaborative and digital work streams for the organisation.
He qualified as an independent prescriber in 2021 and regularly locums delivering the community pharmacy independent prescribing service. He is also an RPS Wales board member.
Shilpa Shah, CEO, Community Pharmacy North East London, and Independent Expert
Member, UK Pharmacy Professional Leadership Advisory Board
Shilpa has been a pharmacist for 25 years and has spent her career in Community Pharmacy. She has worked for two large multiples and is now CEO Community Pharmacy North East London following a two year stint at Kent LPC.
Shilpa is passionate about Community Pharmacy and what it can offer local communities and the NHS.
Outside of pharmacy Shilpa is a listening volunteer at Samaritans and a volunteer pharmacist at Crisis at Christmas.
Charis Stacey, Assistant Director, Digital Primary Care, NHS England
Charis, a cardiac nurse by training, has been involved in strategic change and innovation programmes in the NHS for the last 25 years. With a robust skill set that includes Program Management, Change Management, Organizational Development, Business Process Improvement, she brings experience from previous roles at NHS England, NHSX and Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
Charis has led programmes to deliver digitally enabled improvement across secondary, primary and community services, both locally and nationally at NHSX.
Focused on system, scale and sustainability she is currently the Assistant Director for Digital Primary Care at NHS England.
Ade Williams MBE, Superintendent Pharmacist and Clinical Lead, Bedminster Pharmacy
Ade is the Director and Superintendent Pharmacist of M J Williams Pharmacy Group in Bristol and Lead Prescribing Pharmacist at the multi-award-winning Bedminster Pharmacy.
Ade holds a number of Non-Executive and Trustee roles in healthcare, community and charitable organisations, including the Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, the Self Care Forum Charity, the Bristol Cathedral Council and lately North Bristol NHS Trust. Ade is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, the Royal Society for Public Health and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
Awarded an MBE in 2022 for service to the NHS, he is an RPS Fellow and was named an NHS Vaccine Hero for his work promoting access and increasing uptake to vaccinations. His innovative practice has earned him the title of the profession's Patient Champion.
