The Pharmacy Show 2022 Press Release

The Pharmacy Show returned at the NEC in Birmingham on 16th – 17th October 2022.

This year’s show united over 7000 community pharmacy, primary care and industry professionals, which included over 350 exhibitors and 200 speakers.

 

We anticipated this show to be special, celebrating 15 years of The Pharmacy Show but the buzz around the show floor exceeded all our expectations. We want to say a special thank you to each and every individual who attended, seeing the smiles and energy around the venue is what makes all our work pay off.

 

The Pharmacy Show’s Event Director Garry Tyson said while reflecting on the show

‘What an amazing two days at The Pharmacy Show 2022. The buzz on site was phenomenal, the theatres and features looked stunning, the seminars were thought-provoking, and we had some of the best stands I have ever seen in 11 years on the show.
Thank you to all our exhibitors and partners, those who attended, our speakers and everyone who supported the show.’

 

Will Banfield, CEO of the Pharmacy Website Company mentioned,

‘The Pharmacy Show has been great this year as it's allowed us to engage with our existing clients, and also people that we've met in previous years, who perhaps haven't used our services but have now decided that actually, it's time to get moving, and now realise the value it’s got and want to get started.’

 

One of our repeat exhibitors, Sandra Carnall from Cegedim Healthcare Solutions, remarked;

‘The thing we like most about the show is the opportunity to be face to face with new and prospective customers and have conversations outside of the environment that is notoriously difficult to get. 

I would say there aren't that many events across the UK; for us, this is the flagship.

This is a captive audience, and we will never apart from the last few days have the opportunity to engage with customers as we have done. So existing customers, new customers, and opportunities to get our message across, increase, and leverage our voice, and this year with there's been so much to show, we’re getting the right level of engagement and unlocking our best-kept secrets.’

 

This year, we introduced a new enhanced feature, The Primary Care Pharmacy Show, allowing PCN Pharmacists, practice-based pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and community pharmacists to engage with like-minded individuals and discover specialist exhibitors.

The Pharmacy Show’s Senior Show Manager Abraham Tsegaye said about the new development to the show;

“Following the successful launch of The Primary Care Pharmacy Show, we can now say that the show brings together the largest gathering of primary care pharmacy professionals in the UK. The Pharmacy Show has been supporting the profession since the initiation of the practice-based pharmacist and it’s been a journey of growth and new learnings since.
