Record numbers of pharmacists explore the co-located Trade Days event
On the 8th and 9th of October, more than 2,407 pharmacists took advantage of meeting with manufacturers, distributors and retailers from the mobility and independent living sector to find potential new products to help boost basket spend and to support the venerable within their community.
Initially launched in 2014, Trade Days remains the industry’s sole exhibition dedicated to the mobility and independent living trade, setting itself apart by offering manufacturers, retailers and distributors a space where they could talk business. Event manager Derek McHale was delighted to see so many pharmacists enjoy the benefit of the co-located event and had this to say:
“It was important to us that we held Trade Days alongside The Pharmacy Show to allow you to off er customers access to a broader range of products, where you were looking to stock a selected product range for the first time or expand the existing Pharmacy Show offer”
This year’s show saw over 90 suppliers of the latest innovation in mobility and independent living showcase new.
“Our exhibitors included, Pride, TGA, Pride, Classic Canes and Kirton to name a few and they all had a new product, something the market hadn’t seen before on
their stand,” said Derek.
“I am a big believer in education at events, ensuring industries are sharing and learning new information knowledge and finding the latest products and services. I would like to say a huge thank you to all The Pharmacy Show exhibitors and attendees who took the time to come across to Trade Days and hope to see even more of you pop through into the show next year.”
