Low Pain Vaccination Technique (Unique to Voyager Medical)

Alex is specialised in Low Pain Vaccinations Techniques focusing on using the correct speed, angle, location and distraction strategies, as a primary cause of a patient’s disinclination to have a vaccination is because of the potential pain they will experience.

We conducted a study of 100 patients on the level of pain they experienced immediately after being vaccinated. By applying  our unique Low Pain techniques:

• 91 out of 100 patients reported a pain score of 0 to 2
• 7 out of 100 patients reported a pain score of 3 to 4
• 1 out of 100 patients reported a pain score 7
• 1 out of 100 patients reported a pain score 9

With 10 being the most painful and 0 being no pain at all.

Overall, by applying Low Pain vaccination techniques, we have successfully created a positive experience for patients who are willing to return to our clinic for their next foreign travel visit or the next season.

1. Travel Medicine Webinar Day 1 and Day 2

Specialist knowledge and skills in Travel Health are presented for two and a half hours via Microsoft Teams/Zoom face-to-face training.

Day 1: Basic Knowledge of Travel Medicine and Vaccine Chart.

Day 2: Risk Assessment, Consultations and Sharing of Complex Travel Health Case Studies.

 

2. Junior Specialist-Level of Vaccinations Training

Voyager Medical provides Junior Specialist-Level Vaccinations Skill training (including ‘Low Pain’ methods), GP Childhood Immunisations Vaccinations Skills and Techniques training, and Intramuscular, Subcutaneous, Intranasal and Intradermal Vaccinations (BCG-Class or Specialist-Level only).

 

3. Online PGD-Accredited Training
