Deborah Evans is a pharmacist and managing director of an award-winning private pharmacy in Winchester, REMEDI HEALTH, providing a wide range of innovative, clinical services. Deborah also continues to work as a consultant with the pharmaceutical industry to help their engagement with the community pharmacy sector.
Deborah has worked for 40 years within pharmacy and has enjoyed management roles within community pharmacy, operated as a senior leader within the pharmaceutical industry and liaised closely with primary care and hospital pharmacy sectors, and with local and national commissioners of health.
Deborah is considered a national pharmacy leader and completed a three-year position as an elected member of the English Pharmacy Board of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS). Deborah was appointed as a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 2013, a Faculty Fellow in 2015 and Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health in 2016. She led the national, award-winning Healthy Living Pharmacy (HLP) pathfinder work programme, initially project managing the acclaimed Portsmouth HLP pilot.
Deborah is passionate about ensuring women in pharmacy are fairly represented across all sectors of the profession and is founder of the Women in Pharmacy Facebook group, now with over 8000 members. Deborah also has a passion for Women’s Health and has almost completed her Independent Prescribing qualification with an expertise in the menopause.
REMEDI HEALTH has won a number of local and national awards and is innovating to create an end-to-end private service where clients enjoy a wide range of services including menopause service, sexual health, contraception, phlebotomy, vaccination, allergy, minor conditions, gut health, sleep clinic, full health checks and much more.
Deborah is married, has four children, three grandchildren and lives in Winchester. She is passionate about health and wellbeing, keeping active by working out, cycling, walking and yoga.
