Emmanuel Adukwu
Deputy Head of School & Professor of Applied Microbiology,
University of the West of England
Prof Adukwu is currently the Deputy Head of the School of Applied Sciences and Professor of Applied Microbiology at the University of the West of England Bristol. He is also a member of the executive committee of Applied Microbiology International (AMI) and Advisory Board member for the Medical Research Council's Black in Biomedical research Advisory Group. He leads a research group addressing challenges around antimicrobial resistance and development of complementary therapies for pathogenic infections. His work also includes addressing persistent issues around equity in HE and the awarding gaps.
