Janet Morrison joined Community Pharmacy England as CEO in March 2022. Community Pharmacy England promotes and supports all NHS community pharmacies in England and negotiates with DHSC and NHSE&I on their behalf. Community Pharmacy England’s goal is to enable community pharmacies to offer an increased range of services providing good health outcomes for the public and the NHS and to be a valued part of primary care.
Janet is an experienced leader in the public and not-for-profit sectors, working on national policy influencing and campaigning including in health and social care. For the last 15 years she was CEO at Independent Age – a national older people’s charity, she was the founder and Chair of the Campaign to End Loneliness and CEO of the Black Stork Charity which was working to create a national rehabilitation centre in partnership with the NHS. She has held a number of non-Exec positions as Chair of the Baring Foundation and Chair of the Association of Charitable Foundations.
