Mayank (Mike) Patel qualified as a pharmacist over 20 years ago and set up Pearl Chemist Group in Tooting with his brother Vijay. Pearl Chemist Group now has 20 pharmacies across South West London and Surrey. Mike has always been passionate about technology and finding better ways of working to improve the pharmacy profession. His visionary approach has seen Pearl become an early adopter of the hub and spoke model with the group operating dispensing hubs for both original packs and MDS. In addition to his day job as Managing Director and Superintendent Pharmacist at Pearl Chemist Group, Mike is chair of the of Merton, Sutton & Wandsworth LPC and Vice Chair of Pharmacy London.
