Mini Satheesh
Head of Pharmacy Integration and Workforce,
Northamptonshire ICB
I started my journey in Pharmacy with Community Pharmacy as a pre-registration pharmacist followed by 11 year’s experience working in secondary care setting rotating through various clinical specialities. While in secondary care I qualified as an independent prescriber with an opportunity to utilise my IP skills as a Renal and Urology specialist pharmacist. My career transitioned into Primary care when the Clinical Commissioning Group was formed in 2013 as a Locality Pharmacist where I led on the Antimicrobial Stewardship workstream followed by taking on the role of a Senior Pharmacist for Quality Safety and Governance in LLR ICB. It has been a challenge and a privilege to take up the Community Pharmacy Clinical Lead role in Northamptonshire in the last 2 years leading on the IP pathfinder Project and Pharmacy First programme, which has now expanded into my current role as Head of Pharmacy Integration and Workforce.
