I have over 30 years’ experience of academic research and I have been a registered pharmacist for over 30 years with experience in hospital, public health and community pharmacy. My research programmes focus upon the safe and effective use of medicines and promoting effective professional practice (pharmacy and academic). My research is internationally recognised and award-winning and I have extensive experience of working across professions and sectors. I hold Professorial positions with the University of Strathclyde and the University of Bath (honorary). My company, Watson Research and Training Limited, delivers services that add value to research initiatives and to the development of individuals and organisations using coaching and mentoring.
